Are you passionate about sharing the love of Jesus with the next generation? We are seeking a full-time Children’s Ministry Director to join our ministry team.
Key Responsibilities:
Cultivate a growing personal relationship with Christ and model a Christ-centered life.
Lead and oversee all facets of the children’s ministry (nursery through elementary).
Teach Biblical truths in a way that is engaging and age-appropriate.
Create a loving, fun, and safe environment for children to learn and grow.
Recruit, train, and empower energetic volunteers.
Organize and lead children’s programs, Sunday morning activities, and special events.
Plan outreach initiatives that effectively connect families and children in the community.
Maintain clear communication with parents, volunteers, and church leadership.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in children’s ministry or a related field.
Background in ministry and child development strongly preferred.
A strong, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a deep love for children.
Ability to lead, motivate, and work well with volunteers and staff.
Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills.
An engaging personality with both children and adults.
Flexible, adaptable, and dependable.
Must pass a background check (DCBC is committed to the safety of all children in our care).
